Here is a personal project inspired by the work of the artist Mozu, who's creating extremely detailed miniature rooms. Indeed, I love tiny and cozy spaces, so when I saw his work on the working office, I wanted to recreate this mini world in 3D, (adding some windows for lights the old TV...), and create a cozy mood with a sweet lighting, a rainy weather and some chill sounds.
And then I wanted to exploit the potential of this little environment, through the search for different framings, which was quite a layout challenge because, well, it's very very small ! But it was fun to look for different points of view and thereby create some really different vibes and atmospheres in the same tiny space.

So there is the establishing shot to see all the room that I wanted very cozy and relaxing, and another simple shot of the office in the morning, with soft colors.
I also wanted to deal with the aesthetics of film noir that I love, through a close-up of the tv (movie : The Black Cat by Albert S. Rogell - 1941).
And I wanted to go further more, and make a shot more photographic and kind of futuristic, maybe close of cyberpunk style, thanks to a kind of animated neon I added in compositing. I looked for a framing to play with straight lines from the objects' structure, but I wanted to also play with lights to enhance strong lines play and graphic design.
I had a lot of fun with this project, but I couldn't wait to finish it !

Finally, I did all aspects of this project, except texturing and matte paintings, which were done by Thomas Spony-Ipiens. Thanks to him ! https://www.thomasspony.com/

C&C are welcomed ! Hope you'll enjoy it :)
The Tiny Office : Establishing shot with sounds ! All the room that I wanted very cozy and relaxing, with a lot of small animated lights or things to watch.
Establishing breakdown - from the beauty to the final compositing
Actually, I wasn't really satisfied with the lighting I've done on this one, so I changed my mind and decided to review all the mood and lighting in compositing. It was interesting to look for something new !
Film Noir Shot - Color Version
I wanted to deal with the aesthetics of film noir that I love, through a close-up of the tv, with an old black and white movie, glitching and playing on the video recorder (The Black Cat by Albert S. Rogell - 1941).

Geometric Shot
I wanted to make a shot more photographic & play with strong lines through light and objects to enhance graphic design.
Geometric view - Breakdown
I find neons a bit hypnotic watching them looping like this, don't you think? :)
